Channel Marketing Manager

The company's our acquisitions through the years have given them one of the best portfolio's in the fine art materials industry. An exciting opportunity to join the marketing department at a company who believes that art makes a difference and what they do gives people the opportunity to express themselves and explore their creativity. The focus is now on expanding the marketing team and new product development.

The Role

The Channel Marketing Manager will work on both trade and consumer campaigns to support brand and commercial objectives, working extremely closely with the Fine Art commercial team and retailer partners to deliver. Focused on the North American Arts and Crafts channel, you will work on omnichannel activation and creating this experiential environment with a purpose understand the audience and how best to engage. A focus on using analytics and tracking to create a strategy moving forward. Some creative and design work, tracking performance of all activations and managing those as well. Someone savvy in terms of navigating websites, social media, and assessing digital and online media.

Responsibilities

  • Work with commercial teams to develop programs to support trade partners and build brand growth.
  • Provide Commercial colleagues will all tools required to represent brands with distinction and stand out on a day to day basis.
  • Co-ordinate and deliver local marketing activities including campaigns and consumer/trade events in North America.
  • Be the local brand activation expert with regards to driving best in class execution.
  • Paying attention to detail and processes required to ensure campaign objectives are met and owning the execution in market.
  • Deliver superior activation of toolkits to support NPD and brand campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to establish campaign and trade/consumer event objectives and KPIs, then build and implement the plan to meet these.
  • Work with other functions to drive retail excellence across the channel, in line with customer needs and brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with global brand or local brand champions to ensure everything required for local execution is there and keep communication open to ensure management of timings.
  • Ensure lessons are captured, shared and implemented for continuous improvement of brand campaigns.
  • Build local campaign plans; include support of the portfolio, NPD launches and promotional programs to deliver against the brand, financial and KPI goals set for the NA Market.
  • Manage relevant campaign/event budgets, ensuring investment is sound and efficient against objectives with ROI analysis being the norm.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and improve
  • Brand Management experience
  • Knowledge of art and creative materials
