This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate who has had some exposure in the events space either through internships or on campus events management.

The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Event Planning:

-Navigating contracts with venues, food and beverage, A/V, and general service contractors

-Assisting in the design and creation of expo floor plans

-Securing and ensuring accurate BEO's

• Relationship Building:

-Working with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality events

-Communicate logistical information to speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors

• Cost and Budget Management

-Ensure costs are maintained, accurately forecasted, recorded, and managed

-Keep accurate payment and cost records

-Budgeting for operations related expenditures

• Manage on-site and registrations team:

-Assist in the creation of on-site time plan for the entire team, oversee set-up, execution, and breakdown of events

The Operations Manager will possess the following:

• Experience in the conference/expo industry is preferred but not required
• Exceptional organization skills - prioritizing tasks, managing time, and handling multiple projects at once
• Customer service focused mindset
