$105k-$115k Base Salary + Bonus

New York, NY (Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in-office)

This is an amazing opportunity to join a well-established and award-winning media and events company. The company has seen rapid growth over the last few years and the focus is now on expanding the US business, with impressive growth plans for the next three years. Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to help produce and deliver the marketing strategy promoting their events and digital assets to delegates and exhibitors. The Senior Marketing Manager will possess extensive event industry experience working across the marketing mix, to promote our B2B conference and exhibitions taking place across the US.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Event Director plus the wider team to develop and implement marketing strategy, positioning and key messages, and product strategy.
• Develop and execute the marketing campaign(s), reporting on effectiveness and results ensuring all elements achieve required performance criteria.
• Management of the creative/design process for marketing material. This includes the update and development of existing materials plus the creation of new material in line with the marketing strategy.
• Work with the sales team to create sales campaigns, focused on both new client growth and increased client retention. This includes messaging to drive revenue across all products such as digital, sponsorships, and future revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Conference Lead for the planning, delivery, and execution of the event app, website, and all relevant channels for the US Vet events.
• Regularly review marketing plan, response rates/KPIs, attendee demographics, and industry best practices to ensure marketing efforts are effective and successful, making recommendations and adjustments as appropriate.
• Oversee and execute community-building and social media strategies that drive engagement, interaction, and brand affinity and could improve the audience experience.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting of key marketing statistics and forecasts.
• Manage marketing budgets, purchase orders, and liaise with Finance on reporting requirements.
• Support the Event Director in determining and executing business development strategy.

• Experience working with CRM and CMS platforms, databases, email marketing, and marketing automation software
• Able to identify search words / key terms to be used in data segmentations based on industry knowledge
• Experienced in devising and implementing digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Solid knowledge and experience utilizing digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads)
• Commercial acumen to develop sales-led marketing initiatives
• Flexibility to accommodate extended working hours as needed around key show times
