Client: Event Specialist

Compensation: $55k base + bonus

Location: New York, NY (hybrid, 3 days in office)

Aspire is partnering with a global events company who have set themselves apart in the space by delivering top-tier conferences in a variety of industries, with a focus on the defense and pharmaceutical verticals. Following expansive success over the last two years, and specifically of their US-based events, our client is opening an events branch in their existing NYC office. This is an exciting opportunity and a critical role to support their continuous growth.

About the role:

The conference producer will conduct market research with senior individuals from their target audience, develop and write in-depth event agendas, recruit high-level speakers and assist the sales & marketing teams in promoting their finished product. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who has recently broken into the events industry and is wanting to grow within a global company, or someone who has a keen interest in international and political relations.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing high quality event content - including writing agenda sessions (keynotes, panel discussions etc.)
• Carrying out in-depth research with leaders and experts from a given industry
• Building strong relationship networks within the industry
• Persuading industry experts to speak at the events
• On-site management of the event (including travelling to the events, typically held in major US cities)
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure success of each conference
• Ability to work autonomously - will report directly to UK-based team.
