Tasks To Include:

• Helping to write our weekly US newsletter,
• Identifying and writing daily news stories on the latest fintech developments across the US, Canada, and Latin America,
• Working on weekly features, interviews, and analysis,
• Being the 'face' and 'voice' of AltFi as we grow our presence in the US, meeting and interviewing the movers and shakers on the ground and representing AltFi at events and in the media (moderating panels, appearing on podcasts, etc),
• Being the 'eyes' of the Events team and Head Of Content, helping us to build our first US event,
• Developing a network of contacts among the fintech, digital banking, and alternative finance communities.

What We're Looking For:

• A strong and engaging writer of news, features, and analysis.
• 2+ years of experience covering startups, fintech, or finance is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work remotely as part of a team and individually as needed.
• Excellent research, writing, and editorial skills, with the ability to respond quickly to edits.
• Knowledge and interest in fintech and financial services.
• Ability to grasp the voice, style, and tone of AltFi.
• Experience in the video, radio, podcasts, or speaking at events is a plus.

Compensation:

$180-$220/day based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.

Paid monthly by invoice, based on 2 days/week worked.
