Compensation: $70k Base + Uncapped Commission
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 days in-office)

This is an opportunity to join the largest revenue-generating portfolio for an established and award-winning business in the tradeshow industry. The Business Development Manager will drive the growth of their portfolio across sponsorship and exhibition sales. They will use a needs-based sales approach to secure higher sponsorships as well as a transactional sales approach for expo sales. The BDM will also work with the production, marketing, and experience teams to ensure the growth and delivery of the event portfolio.

Responsibilities:
* Deliver outstanding customer service in the day-to-day management of client's to achieve exhibition sales revenue
* Manage the entire sales cycle from; initial outreach, to closing their business, to account management
* Generate revenue through a retained client base as well as new business
* Demonstrate commercial awareness by being able to deliver accurate sales reports and forecasts

Qualifications:
* 1-3 years sales experience, both face to face and over the phone
* A driven and dedicated approach as this person will need to spend at least 2 hours a day on the phone
* Must be motivated by surpassing targets and reaping the rewards
* A great communicator who can engage clients in a vision and offer multi-tiered solutions with a consultative sales approach
