Position: Business Development Manager
Company: Global Tradeshow Organizer
Compensation: $80k-$100k Base + Uncapped Commission
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 days in-office)

This is an opportunity to join one of the largest revenue-generating portfolios for an established and award-winning business in the global tradeshow industry. The Business Development Manager will drive the growth of their portfolio across sponsorship and exhibition sales. They will use a consultative sales approach to secure higher sponsorships as well as a transactional sales approach for expo sales. The BDM will also work with the production, marketing, and experience teams to ensure the growth and delivery of the event portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service in the day-to-day management of client's to achieve exhibition and sponsorship sales revenue.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from; initial outreach, to closing their business, to account management.
• Generate revenue through a retained client base as well as new business.
• Demonstrate commercial awareness by being able to deliver accurate sales reports and forecasts.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years sponsorship and exhibit sales experience, both face to face and over the phone.
• Motivated, self-driven, confident, and professional in approach with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
• Experience within a KPI / target driven environment, using a CRM to track sales campaigns and progress.
• Passionate about the prospect of delivering creative event solutions to new clients and helping them transform their business.
