$65k-$75k Base Salary

New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 days per week in-office)

This is an opportunity to join one of the largest revenue-generating portfolios for an established and award-winning conference and tradeshow organizer. The Operations Manager will be responsible for:

• Event Planning:

-Navigating contracts with venues, food and beverage, A/V, and general service contractors

-Assisting in the design and creation of expo floor plans

-Securing and ensuring accurate BEO's and SOW's

• Relationship Building:

-Working with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality events

-Communicate logistical information to speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors

• Cost and Budget Management:

-Ensure costs are maintained, accurately forecasted, recorded, and managed

-Keep accurate payment and cost records

-Budgeting for operations related expenditures

• Manage events on-site:

-Assist in the creation of on-site time plan for the event set-up, execution, and breakdown

The Operations Manager will possess the following:

• Experience in the conference/expo industry is preferred but not required
• Exceptional organization skills - prioritizing tasks, managing time, and handling multiple projects at once
• Customer service focused mindset
