Brand Partnerships Manager (US)

Technology Owner - Beauty and CPG

$130k-$150k Base ($200k-$225k OTE)

New York City

This is an opportunity to join the sales team for a fast-growing tech company who have recently been awarded a top 15 position in the Deloitte Fast 50 technology company list. The company has seen rapid growth over the last year and their focus is now on expanding the US business with impressive growth plans, so they are looking for the best talent to ensure they achieve these.

This is a hybrid role, where you will be required to work from the New York office for a minimum of 2 days per week.

The Brand Partnerships Manager will be responsible for:

  • Manage a key account list to build client relationships and grow revenue across the company's Beauty business
  • Maintain and accurately report on the sales pipeline, including the likelihood of closing deals, on a quarterly basis
  • Identify and actively prospect new brand partner relationships to support the CRO and Head of Brand Partnerships in achieving growth objective
  • Develop senior-level relationships across the Beauty industry, collaborating with our brand partners to understand their strategic objectives and ensure we are delivering value to each account
  • Design an account plan strategy for your accounts, defining the structure for growth within each.
  • Drive revenue via the development of sales pipeline, pitch presentation, pricing, and deal closure.
  • Deliver on agreed sales objectives and growth targets
  • Stay up-to-date on the product roadmap and upcoming launches, as well as the wider digital media ecosystem, in order to identify potential opportunities with new and existing brand partners
  • Collaborate with the wider global sales and marketing teams to improve sales processes and conversion rates.

The Brand Partnerships Manager will possess the following:

  • 4+ years of related work experience in sales and client services within the media, digital marketing, advertising, or tech industry
  • Experience selling to and managing large beauty portfolio businesses (i.e. L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Coty, P&G, J&J, Unilever, etc.)
  • Proven track record of growing accounts and meeting sales targets
  • Proven track record of building strong client relationships, both brand direct and with ad agencies
  • Strategic, consultative sales approach with the ability to understand customer needs, create meaningful solutions, set expectations, and close deals of all sizes
  • An understanding of the digital media landscape and the competitive marketplace in which we operate
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Competent level of IT literacy (fluent in Google Docs, Google Calendar, and Google Sheets)
