Position: Expo Sales Manager

Compensation: $65k-$70k Base + Uncapped Commission

Location: New York, NY (Fully Remote)

This is an opportunity to join a leading organization in the global tradeshow space. The company has recently experienced rapid growth and are looking for an Expo Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in the acquisition of new sponsorship and exhibitor revenue for a series of events in the learning technology space. Working with the management team and following sales strategies to ensure sales targets are met. Supporting colleagues with the smooth running of each event as required.

*Candidates must have sponsorship and exhibit booth sales experience.*

Responsibilities

• Determine product offering(s) needed to achieve clients' goals.
• Develop an annual sales plan in support of the team and personal goals and objectives.
• Implements effective rebooking processes and onsite sales strategies/targets.
• Deliver new exhibit and sponsorship sales revenue.
• Obtain additional sponsorship revenue from returning clients.
• Attend competitor events with the team to source new business.
• Provide timely and accurate weekly sales reports and forecasts.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop exhibitor marketing emails and newsletter content as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sponsorship or exhibit sales experience in events or media
• Exceptional communication skills
• Excellent telephone sales skills and ability to sell face to face.
• Relationship building skills.
• Ability to create urgency and close business.
• Ability to write professional sales proposals.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, teams, and Salesforce.
• Understanding of the value of large-scale events and the benefits to all stakeholders.
