Position: Media Sales Executive
Company: Events and Media Specialist
Compensation:
$80k Base ($120k OTE - Uncapped)
Location:
United States (Remote - Midwest or West Coast Preferred)

Aspire is partnering with a global event and media specialist known for hosting large-scale conferences, tradeshows, and digital events across diverse industries such as energy, defense, technology, and retail. They operate internationally, connecting professionals through in-person and digital platforms. The company is recognized for its ability to drive business growth and industry innovation by combining networking opportunities with business intelligence, media properties, and data services.

Responsibilities:

Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Meet or exceed established monthly revenue targets
  • Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Prospect, penetrate, and create new relationships with clients and advertising agencies.
  • Build customer trust and learn advertising needs, objectives, and goals.
  • Create solution-based integrated selling proposals for customers in a timely fashion.
  • Visit customers throughout the year at their locations/offices to maintain the relationship and trust in our brands, company, and solutions we offer.
  • Attending sales meetings, key industry events, tradeshows, and training as required.
  • Continuously developing market and product knowledge to assist with business development
  • Utilize sales CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals.
  • 30% Travel

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of successful sales experience.
  • Strong self-starter, confident, and persuasive presenter of information.
  • Strong understanding of digital media, contemporary marketing strategies, and advertising solutions.
  • Ability to forecast and close sales.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills as well as written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to interact with customers, earn their trust, and close business.
  • Able to utilize Sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or like programs.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Salesforce.
  • Proven track record in establishing a network of contacts and prospects
