$70k-$80k Base + Uncapped Commission

This is an opportunity to join a leading organization in the conference and tradeshow space. The company has recently experienced rapid growth and are looking for a Sponsorship Sales Executive who will play a pivotal role in the acquisition of new sponsorship and exhibitor revenue for their series of events. The Sponsorship Sales Executive will have 3+ years of sponsorship and exhibit booth sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine product offering(s) needed to achieve clients goals
• Develop an annual sales plan in support of team and personal goals and objectives
• Implements effective rebooking processes and onsite sales strategies/targets
• Deliver new exhibit and sponsorship sales revenue
• Obtain additional sponsorship revenue from returning clients
• Attend competitor events with the team to source new business
• Provide timely and accurate weekly sales reports and forecasts
• Collaborate with marketing to develop exhibitor marketing emails and newsletter content as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sponsorship sales experience in events or media
• Exceptional communication skills
• 3+ years CRM experience
• Strong negotiating skills
• Weekends and Travel required

Skills

• Excellent telephone sales skills and ability to sell face to face
• Good questioning and even better listening skills
• Ability to create urgency and close business
• Ability to write professional sales proposals
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, teams, and Salesforce
