Account Executive - Subscription Sales

Business Intelligence

United States (Remote)

$65k Base (95k OTE - Uncapped)

Aspire is partnering with one of the world's largest independent price reporting agencies. Their mission is to provide transparency to the market and help customers make better-informed decisions and maximize profits.

Account Executive is a new role to our client as they usher in a new era of revenue generation. The role is created to drive a focus on winning new logos. The right candidate will be a pure hunter with a proven track record of targeting and securing new business within the price reporting or business intelligence market. You should have a passion for solution, consultative, or challenger sales theory and be able to clearly articulate value propositions/ROIs to new customers.

The Job:

  • Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas for new business
  • Work within a quickly growing team of business development managers
  • Responsible for increasing sales from New Logos and Winbacks (previously canceled accounts)
  • Responsible and high accuracy in the completion of Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities as well as notes, tasks, and meetings within the CRM System (Salesforce)
  • Build a strong market knowledge of the metals market to bring back into the business innovation and investment ideas
  • Develop and maintain a clear and well-organized territory and account plan which outlines how you will deliver your sales target consistently

The Requirements:

  • A proven new business sales record
  • Superb communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in the commodities industry (or general knowledge)
  • Proven track record using CRM (Salesforce) to run their territory
  • Experience working with consultative, solution, or challenger sales
  • A self-starter with drive and the ability to create a sense of urgency
  • A proven team player with a willingness to help accelerate their peer's development

Experience within the PRA or commodities markets would be welcomed.
