Position: Director of Event Marketing

Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 Base Salary + Bonus

Location: New York City (Hybrid)

Aspire is partnering with a leading media specialist empowering professional communities across a variety of industries, including Financial Services. Their services include research and insights, benchmarking data, and digital subscriptions and events. The Director of Event Marketing will lead the events team to bring the company's value propositions to market, engaging all target segments with powerful storytelling and effective strategies to deliver revenue goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the marketing strategy for a portfolio of events across the financial services and professional services communities.
• Empower the event marketing team to develop, implement and manage all tactical marketing campaigns using email, SEO/SEM, and social media channels.
• Develop strong understanding of diverse markets; ensure team can leverage insights from audience development and editorial/programming to engage target segments.
• Oversee event marketing responsibilities related to strategic partnerships; Identify new opportunities for industry and content partner relationships to extend marketing reach.
• Guide event marketing team in analyzing metrics on campaigns, performance and pacing, and recommendations in strategy/direction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to assist in the creation of new products and revenue streams on an on-going basis to ensure integration and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of event marketing expertise and experience managing teams.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding marketing revenue and profitability targets.
• Experience developing year-round multi-channel, full-funnel marketing campaigns.
• Hands-on business style focused on delivering budgeted revenue.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize a high volume of projects, guiding team to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent planning, presentation, organization, and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
