Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000 Base Salary + Bonus

Location: United States (Fully Remote)

Aspire is partnering with one of the largest global event organizations specializing in the clean energy industry. We are recruiting for a Deputy Director of Event Operations who will be responsible for the management and execution of operations for a portfolio of tradeshows and conferences. This position will work with the operations team on the overall logistics for the company's flagship event as well as regional events across the United States. Working cross-functionally with other internal teams to meet strategic growth goals, this individual will oversee all on-site deliverables and execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Negotiating contracts with venues, F&B, A/V, and general service contractors
• Design and create conference room layouts with staging, A/V, and room sets
• Securing and ensuring accurate BEOs, selecting food and beverage and other on-site experiential components
• Work with appropriate staff to evaluate events, ensuring on-site deliverables are executed and ensuring continual improvement and quality customer service
• Suppliers and venues: work with numerous partners such as hotels, venues, general service contractors, and audio-visual teams to ensure a high-quality event
• Ensure costs are monitored, maintained, accurately forecasted, recorded, and managed
• Budgeting for all operational-related expenditures
• Offer new innovative ideas on how to improve the customer experience through on-site logistics and pre-event planning

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in the tradeshow industry planning and negotiating venues, F&B, and general service contractors
• Accomplished problem solver with superior analytical and negotiation skills. Ability to effectively express information in written and oral contexts with internal customers, attendees, team members, and vendors

• Customer service focused, problem solver, cost-conscious, and pays attention to detail
• The ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment and be highly organized
• Ability to travel
